Our Team

Dr. Mike Wu has been practicing in Tucson since 2001 and is committed to providing the finest eye care to his patients. He is skilled in providing eye examinations for the diagnosis, management, and treatment of the various conditions of the eyes. Dr. Wu specializes in fitting contact lenses and is particularly good at helping patients who experience difficulty focusing near the latest technology in multifocal and monovision contact lenses.

Dr. Wu graduated from the University of California, San Diego in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and received his Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2001. He went on to complete a residency in Primary Care and Low Vision Rehabilitation at the Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System in Tucson, Arizona where he participated in the rehabilitation of veterans who had lost their sight due to various conditions. Dr. Wu is currently part of the Alcon Speaker Alliance and was on their Professional Development Consultant team for several years. He has also been a part of the Johnson and Johnson Innovation Speakers Bureau and consulted for CooperVision. He traveled around the country giving lectures and visiting other optometrists to discuss contact lens and practice management topics.

In his spare time, Dr. Wu enjoys spending time with his wife, their two children, and the family's two poodle-mix babies.

Dr. Karen D. Grandi was born and raised in southern California but is happy to now call Tucson home.  She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Occidental College in Los Angeles and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2004.

Dr. Grandi has practiced optometry in Tucson since 2005, is a member of the Southern Arizona Optometric Society, and is committed to providing excellent primary eye care to patients of all ages.

In her spare time, Dr. Grandi enjoys reading, traveling, and spending quality time with her canine children.
